FINDING CHEAP ADVERTISING is not all that hard if you just look around. Since word-of-mouth advertising is by far the best and most profitable advertising I suggest you focus the majority of your efforts there. So, how do you get people to talk about your company, product, services and you. First off, don't restrict your thinking to just your product or service. In Hollywood they say the only bad press is an obituary. While that may work for Actors and Actresses, you really don't want any bad publicity, but there are many chances to get good publicity.

If you are taking the trouble to network, you should also take the time to do it right. Most people that I see networking don't really get the point. They continually try to sell to the room using their 30,45 or 60-second commercial message. Those who have been to a class or had some training are a little better in identifying the problem they solve and include who an ideal client referral would be for them. But, all too often, this ideal client referral is still somewhat nebulous.

Positive Feedback is the most effective way to promote and encourage the repetition of desired behaviors. It beats money hands down yet costs nothing but a few moments of thought to prepare and deliver. Everybody likes positive feedback that is specific, relates to personal qualities and is given without obvious ulterior motives.
